Cap with female connection, Figure 301. Made of cast iron with a 70-μm galvanic coating and a Zn mass purity of 98.05%. The cap, with connecting threads in accordance with ISO 7/1 (DIN 2999/BS 21), has a minimum breaking load of 350 N/mm². It withstands a maximum working pressure of 25 bar, an ambient temperature range of -20 to 300°C and maximum operating temperature for DHW of 60°C. MT’s galvanised malleable cast iron fittings and accessories are manufactured in accordance with UNE-EN-10242 with dimensions in accordance with the standards ISO 49 and DIN 2950. They have a high temperature resistance and are very durable, making them ideal for fluid handling applications in cold and hot water, drinking water, oil, air, gas or steam, and they are suitable for DIN 2440 and DIN 2448A steel pipe installations.
