Wall Plated Elbow – brass

Series 88 wall plated elbow compression fitting for low- and high-density polyethylene pipes and female threaded connection. Body and nut made of brass, in accordance with standard UNE EN 12165, with sandblasted surface, gasket and compression ring, in accordance with standard UNE EN 12164. Model 88500 has an EPDM O-ring with ACS, WRAS and DVGW drinking water certification. The coupling, with metric compression thread in accordance with ISO 724 (DIN 13) and with union thread in accordance with ISO 228 (BS 2779), withstands a pressure of 25 bar (400 psi) and a maximum operating temperature of 90°C. MT brass compression fittings are suitable for cold water and hot water fluid handling applications, but use in water with high ammonia or bicarbonate concentrations may cause oxidation and accelerated wear of the brass. Series 88 is DVGW-certified for drinking water and meets the pressure requirements of DIN 8076-1.
