F-F Anti-Electrolysis Socket

Series 87 anti-electrolysis socket with female-female connection. Outer body made of 99.9% copper, inner made of polyamide 6.0 (Nylon) + 30% glass fibre and inner threads in accordance with gas standard BSPP ISO 7-1. Socket 87271 with threaded connection is self-extinguishing with a dielectric strength of 50 kV/mm². It maintains tensile strength at 7.44 kg/mm², flexural strength at 7.75 kg/mm² and compressive strength at 6.32 kg/mm². It has a maximum working pressure of 16 PN and an operating temperature range from -12 to 105°C. It is especially suitable for systems where there are elements of different nature and composition, such as copper/iron, guaranteeing the elimination of galvanic couples. They have a high temperature resistance, making them ideal for both hot and cold water fluid handling applications.
