Compression Connection Without Welding
: Compression fittings and valves for PE pipe allow secure mechanical connections to be made without welding, heat fusion or complex tools. The connection is made by tightening the fitting onto the polyethylene pipe, creating a strong and watertight joint. A Complete, Versatile, Durable and Certified System
: The MT range includes brass compression fittings for PE pipe, manufactured with brass bodies and EPDM O-rings. Depending on the series, the fittings are designed for cold water, hot water and compressed air. The MT series of PE pipe fittings includes male threaded versions (Series 99), female threaded versions (Series 88) and flanged fittings (Series 89) for larger diameters, allowing the installation to be adapted to different connection requirements. The range includes PE/PE couplings, PE/PE elbows, tees, male and female fittings, threaded elbows, threaded tees, wall plate elbows, flanged fittings, spare parts, seals and ball valves with stainless steel handles and optional threaded connections.
Pressure and Temperature Performance
: MT PE pipe fittings are manufactured from high-quality brass and are designed for pressurised installations. Series 88 has a nominal pressure rating of PN25 and a maximum temperature of 90°C, with leak-tightness tested up to 40 bar. Series 89 and Series 99 have a maximum pressure rating of PN16, with technical ratings of 16 bar at 20°C and 4.2 bar at 95°C. Series 4100 PE valves are designed to operate with the valve and pipe system up to 25 bar, with leak-tightness tested up to 40 bar and an operating temperature range from -20°C to 120°C.

What pressure and temperature can MT fittings and valves for PE pipe withstand?

It depends on the series. Series 88 has a nominal pressure rating of PN25 and leak-tightness tested up to 40 bar. Series 89 and Series 99 have a maximum pressure rating of PN16, with 16 bar at 20°C and 4.2 bar at 95°C. Series 4100 valves can operate up to 25 bar as part of the valve and pipe system and have been tested for leak-tightness up to 40 bar.

How are fittings and valves connected to PE pipe?

They are connected by inserting the PE pipe into the fitting and tightening the nut to create a secure and watertight mechanical connection, without welding or heat fusion.
