Stainless steel welding fittings
MT’s range of stainless steel welding valves and fittings is designed for industrial, chemical, food-processing, petrochemical, fluid handling, steam, air, oil, solvent and technical applications where a permanent, strong connection capable of withstanding demanding conditions is required.
The category includes stainless steel welding fittings and 3-piece stainless steel ball valves with butt-weld or socket-weld connections. These solutions allow stainless steel installations to be configured with high mechanical strength, good durability and a professional finish in networks exposed to pressure, temperature, chemicals or continuous operation.
The category includes SCH10 and SCH40 stainless steel fittings, with and without welding, in AISI 304L and AISI 316L stainless steel, allowing the most suitable grade to be selected according to the type of installation, the fluid being transported and the required level of corrosion resistance.
Stainless steel welding valves and fittings are a technical solution for installations requiring a robust, permanent and reliable connection. They are commonly used in industrial networks, fluid handling systems, steam, air and oil lines, food-processing applications, chemical installations and technical rooms.
Stainless steel welding fittings and valves are suitable for chemical and petrochemical installations and networks associated with natural gas, where material resistance and connection reliability are critical factors.
The use of AISI 304L or AISI 316L stainless steel allows the installation to be adapted to the level of corrosion, temperature and chemical requirements of the process.
MT Valves & Fittings is a reference in approvals from which we design efficient, safe, durable and highly profitable products.
The company remains aligned with the most demanding European legislation in its commitment to the continuous development of new production lines.
The main difference is the wall thickness of the pipe. SCH10 fittings are designed for thinner-wall pipes, commonly used in installations where a lighter pipe system is required and the operating pressure and conditions allow it.
SCH40 fittings are used with thicker-wall pipes, providing a more robust and resistant installation suitable for applications with greater mechanical, pressure or durability requirements.
Welded fittings require a welded connection between the pipe and fitting, providing a fixed, strong and durable connection. They are a good option for permanent or demanding installations.
Non-welded fittings allow connections to be made without applying heat, using mechanical, threaded or tightening systems. They are particularly practical for maintenance, repair and extension work or installations where using an open flame or welding equipment is not advisable.
MT 3-piece stainless steel welding ball valves operate up to PN63 in sizes from 1/4″ to 1 1/2″ and up to PN40 in sizes from 2″ to 4″, always within the temperature, fluid and regulatory conditions applicable to the installation.
Their operating temperature range is from -20°C to 180°C, allowing them to be used in cold and hot water, steam, oils, air, chemicals, solvents and other technical fluids.
