Rubber expansion joint with double sphere. Body made of NBR elastomer, with galvanised carbon steel nuts, polyamide 6 inner fabric and BSPT threads in accordance with ISO 228/1. The expansion joint is a connection suitable for pipes and rigid systems to protect the installation and components against electrolysis, vibrations, expansion and contraction, water hammer and to reduce noise. Model 51202 withstands a nominal working pressure of 16 bar (250 psi) and a burst pressure of 30 bar. It has an operating temperature of -20 to 80°C and a working vacuum of 0.53 bar. The expansion joint is ideal for application in pumping, heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, air compressor equipment, cold water and hot water, compressed air and compatible chemicals.
