PTFE (or Teflon) insulating tape. This insulation is made of 100% virgin PTFE with a density of 0.35 g/cm and a tensile strength of 8 N/mm². The tape, suitable for use on plastics, brass, copper, steel and aluminium, has a non-stick and waterproof surface. It is suitable as a sealant and lubricant due to its features for easy assembly and disassembly of low friction threaded joints. It has high resistance to enzymatic and microbiological attack, water, gases, acid solvents, alkalis and other reactive media. Suitable for use in the mechanical and construction industry, plumbing, automotive and aerospace industries, as well as in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. MT PTFE tape is resistant to high temperatures and withstands an operating temperature of -190 to 370°C.
