Y strainer with flanges and removable stainless steel filter with 1.8 mm (1800-µ micron) hole. Manufactured in GG-25 cast iron with RAL5013 epoxy paint coating, EPDM cover union seal and flanges in accordance with standard UNE EN1092-2. The Y strainer is designed to retain foreign agents found in fluid systems and to protect all equipment in the system such as pumps and valves, preventing damage and downtime. It withstands a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (250 psi) and can withstand an operating temperature of between -10 to 80°C. Model 5110 has been designed in accordance with DIN 3202 – UNE EN 558-1 and is ideal for both hot and cold water, steam, compressed air, oil and neutral chemical applications. It can be installed horizontally with the filter at the bottom and vertically or on a slope as long as the liquid flow direction is downwards.
